Pricing corrections get priority — they are the most useful thing anyone sends.
This is a small independent project, so replies are not immediate. Reported pricing errors are usually verified and corrected within a few days.
Reporting a pricing or specification error
Hosting pricing changes constantly, promotions run and expire without notice, and every figure here is transcribed by hand. Corrections are genuinely valuable.
To make one quick to action, please include:
- The provider and plan affected.
- The figure shown here and the correct figure.
- A link to the provider's own page showing it. This matters more than anything else — a correction without a source takes far longer to verify, and hosting prices frequently differ by region, so a screenshot without a URL can be genuinely ambiguous.
Renewal price corrections are especially welcome. Renewal rates are the hardest figure to research, because they are usually not on the pricing page at all — they appear in the terms of service, in the checkout flow, or only on the invoice a year later. If you have an actual renewal invoice showing what you were charged, that is the strongest possible evidence and we would very much like to see it (with personal details removed).
Requesting a provider
New providers get added regularly. To be included, a provider needs public pricing — anything quote-only cannot be compared meaningfully — and a documented renewal rate or enough public evidence to establish one. A provider that will not disclose what you pay in year two is difficult to represent honestly.
Beyond that it is a judgement about whether the provider adds something the table does not already cover. The comparison is more useful curated than exhaustive.
Questions about the recommendation
If the quiz recommended something that seems wrong for your situation, that is worth an email. The methodology page documents what it weights and why, and the weightings have been changed before on the strength of a good argument.
Please include what you answered and what you expected instead — the useful cases are usually ones where a real situation does not fit the four questions cleanly, which points at a gap in the questions themselves.
Advertising, affiliates and partnerships
To be direct about what is and is not possible:
- Paid placement in the comparison: no. Not available at any price. It is the one thing that would make the site worthless.
- Sponsored reviews or "featured provider" slots: no.
- Requests to remove or soften a drawback listed against your service: no — but if something stated is factually wrong, send evidence and it will be corrected quickly. Providers are welcome to contest accuracy; they are not welcome to contest tone.
- Affiliate programme enquiries: the site currently uses no affiliate links. If that changes it will be disclosed prominently on the about page and labelled at every link, and it will not affect rankings.
Privacy and legal
For what the site collects, see the privacy policy — briefly, quiz answers never leave your browser. For data protection requests or anything relating to the terms of use, email the address above with "Privacy" or "Legal" in the subject.
What this project cannot help with
Hosting Finder is a comparison tool, not a support desk or a consultancy. It cannot help with problems on your hosting account, site migrations, debugging a WordPress install, billing or refund disputes, or recovering a suspended account — all of those need your host's own support, since they hold your account and data.
