Hosting Finder is a free tool for comparing web hosting providers. This page explains what data is collected when you use it, and by whom.
Nothing. Hosting Finder has no accounts, no forms, and no server-side database. Your quiz answers, theme preference, and currency choice are stored only in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them on your next visit — none of it is sent to us or stored on any server we control.
This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites, and to measure ad performance. To default the price display to your local currency, this site runs a small function on Netlify's servers (an "edge function") that reads your approximate country from your IP address using Netlify's built-in geolocation. That lookup happens on Netlify's infrastructure, is not sent to any third-party geolocation service, and the result (just a country code) is not logged or stored anywhere — it's used once, in your browser, to set a default currency you can change at any time.
Currency conversion uses live exchange rates fetched directly from your browser to Frankfurter, a free, open exchange-rate API based on European Central Bank reference rates. That request goes straight from your browser to Frankfurter, not through us, and only asks for current rates — no personal information is included in it.
This site loads its typeface from Google Fonts. Loading a font this way means your browser makes a request to Google's font servers, which, like any web request, is visible to Google as a standard server log entry (e.g. IP address, browser type).
